Black Law Street is an online directory platform that connects clients with BIPOC and B1 attorneys and legal professionals. We provide various membership tiers for attorneys to create profiles, showcase their expertise, and connect with potential clients.

3. Eligibility

To create an attorney listing on Black Law Street, you must:

  • Be a licensed attorney in good standing
  • Identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) or B1 (Black American)
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Attorney Listings and Content

Profile Information

Attorneys are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date profile information
  • Ensuring all credentials and qualifications are truthful
  • Complying with professional conduct rules and bar association guidelines
  • Not making false or misleading claims about their services

Content Guidelines

All content submitted to Black Law Street must:

  • Be professional and appropriate
  • Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content
  • Not infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Not contain spam or promotional material unrelated to legal services

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit to Black Law Street. However, by submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on our platform.

5. Membership and Payments

Membership Tiers

We offer multiple membership tiers with varying features and pricing:

  • Free Listing: Basic profile at no cost
  • Basic Profile: $250/year
  • Upgraded Profile: $600/year
  • Premium Listing: $1000/year

Payment Terms

  • All fees are billed annually in advance
  • Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors
  • Memberships automatically renew unless cancelled
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for annual memberships. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of initial purchase. No refunds are provided after 30 days or for membership renewals.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time. Your profile will remain active until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for early cancellation.

6. Approval and Removal of Listings

Black Law Street reserves the right to:

  • Review and approve all attorney applications
  • Reject applications that do not meet our criteria
  • Remove or suspend listings that violate these Terms
  • Modify or remove content that violates our guidelines
  • Terminate accounts for repeated violations

7. User Conduct

Users of the Service agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
  • Scrape or collect data from the Service without permission
  • Impersonate another person or entity

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Black Law Street is a directory service only. We do not provide legal advice or endorse any particular attorney. We are not responsible for the quality of legal services provided by attorneys listed on our platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLACK LAW STREET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Black Law Street from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Attorney-Client Relationship

Use of Black Law Street does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and any attorney listed on the platform. Any attorney-client relationship must be established directly between you and the attorney.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on Black Law Street, including logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Black Law Street or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
